ImpactCircle is a verified volunteer and community impact platform for Greater Moncton and surrounding areas. We connect people who want to give their time with organizations that need reliable, motivated volunteers — and we track every hour so contributions are permanently recognized.
Yes — ImpactCircle is completely free for volunteers. Creating a profile, browsing shifts, applying, and tracking your hours costs nothing. Organizations also have free access to the core platform. Premium features for organizations may be introduced in the future, but basic access will always be free.
Click "Register" in the navigation bar and choose whether you're signing up as a volunteer or an organization. Complete your profile, then start browsing upcoming shifts or posting your own opportunities. The whole process takes about two minutes.

For Volunteers
Visit Upcoming Shifts to see all available opportunities. You can filter results by category (Environment, Youth, Food, etc.), time of day, location type (in-person or remote), and more. No account is required just to browse.
Click "Apply" on any shift you're interested in. The organization receives your application and can review your profile. If approved, the shift is added to your personal schedule and you receive a notification. If your application is not selected, you will also be notified.
After completing a shift, you claim your hours through your volunteer dashboard. The organization then reviews and approves your claim. Once approved, those hours are permanently added to your impact record — verified, visible, and shareable with employers or educational institutions.
Yes. Many organizations post remote shifts for tasks like graphic design, data entry, translation, social media management, and virtual tutoring. Use the "Remote" filter on the Upcoming Shifts page to find these opportunities.
For Organizations
After registering your organization, our admin team reviews your submitted details. This typically takes 1–3 business days. Once verified, your profile receives a verified badge and you gain full access to post opportunities, manage applicants, and access reporting tools.
Yes. When creating a new opportunity, you can configure it as recurring — daily, weekly, or monthly — with a custom end date. The platform automatically manages new sign-ups for each occurrence and keeps your roster up to date.
Your dashboard shows all confirmed volunteers for each shift. After the event, volunteers self-report their hours, and you can approve or adjust the claimed hours directly from your dashboard. All approved hours are locked into the system permanently.
Yes. The Impact Report section of your dashboard lets you generate and download reports summarizing total volunteer hours, participation by program, and community outcomes over any time period — perfect for annual reports, grant applications, and board presentations.
