By accessing or using ImpactCircle ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ImpactCircle. By creating an account or using any feature of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use ImpactCircle. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and truthful information in your profile
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to access another user's account without permission
  • Use automated means to scrape or collect data from the Platform
  • Interfere with the technical operation of the Platform

5. Volunteer and Organization Conduct

Volunteers commit to honoring their confirmed shift agreements. Organizations commit to providing accurate opportunity descriptions and treating volunteers with respect. Both parties are expected to communicate openly and in good faith.

6. Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant ImpactCircle a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating the Platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

ImpactCircle is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time from your settings page.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
